Hi, I’m Dayana. My husband, our two sons, and I proudly call Sykesville/Eldersburg our forever home—because from the moment we arrived, we truly felt right at home. My husband is a retired U.S. Army Veteran, and our younger boys attend Carroll County Public Schools. Our oldest son is grown and building his life in New Hampshire.
Maryland's House of Delegates in district 5 is one of 47 districts in the Maryland general Assembly. District 5 covers parts of carroll County, as well as a small part of southeastern Frederick County. District 5 last democratic Maryland General Assembly representative was elected in 1978, and served until January 12, 1983. It would be my honor to proudly represent District 5, as the first Democratic Latina.
